Wrong Number Again
This is the third instance I have found where there is a mis-print or a toll free company number has been changed with the result being someone calling a phone sex service.
A well known tax preparation software company was involved this time. The mistake was actually found by an IT company while installing software for a client. The IT representative was trying to order an upgrade for a state tax return and decided not to order online but to call the published number and talk to a real person when the error was discovered.
The software company has yet to comment other than provide a new number to subscribers of their software service.
I do know honest mistakes are made every day, but I somehow get the feeling that there is a software programmer getting a good laugh out of this one.
